NDA is Australia’s number one No Doubt and Gwen Stefani fan site. The site is best known for its Gallery and Downloads section.

Bec, the owner of NDA was managing her site through Adobe Dreamweaver - although this gave Bec full management of the site, it could only be managed from one computer, and multiple authors were not possible. Bec approached me to ask for help in building a custom Wordpress site, that would contain all the information that NDA currently had, but with improved usability, navigation and greater managing power. Bec designed the new site theme herself.

Bec and any number of approved NDA authors can now post news items from anywhere around the globe. Users can post comments on all the news items which are placed through a spam filter before being approved.

Custom templates were created for the Links, Affiliates and Shop pages which enables all external links to be managed from one place. Depending on which category a link is placed in, this will determine where the link appears on the site (e.g. all links in the ‘Fan Site’ category will appear in the correct list on the Links page).

Full archives are created for every post which may be exported into other blogs in the future. Archives can be accessed by users who may want to search by category, date and post tags.

Search functions and mailing list were also included in the site build at the owners request.
